IT was a case of Viva España for one district resident after winning £421,000 in the Spanish lottery.
The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, scooped the bumper payout in the El Gordo lottery draw in the first week of January.
He said: “The first thing I did was told my mum and she didn’t believe me.
“The money will make a huge difference to our lives – I’m going to buy my mum’s council house and a Mini too.
“My brother is getting married next year so I will put some money towards that, it’s great to be in a position to give back to my family.”
He won through Lottoland which enables British players to try their luck in foreign lottery draws.
